Our History
Incorporated in September 1998 in the State of Maryland, the NAAAHR was co-sponsored by the Baltimore Black Human Resources Network and the Washington, D.C. Black Human Resources Network. The NAAAHR was formed by a coalition of 17 local organizations of African American professionals and consultants from various cities across the country. An association of more than 4,300 members and affiliates, NAAAHR has a network of over 32 chapters and interest groups throughout the United States. While a number of our members affiliate with other professional and trade organizations, they consider their local NAAAHR chapter a valued resource for shared learning, professional development, and personal growth opportunities.
